THE BAHA MEN OF WHO LET THE DOGS OUT FAME CALL ON GONG MAN TO CREATE NEW INTERNATIONAL BRAND

US based Wollongong born graphic designer, musician, photographer and branding expert Rick Caballo is still busy despite the impact of COVID-19.

Mr Caballo continues to run the business he co-founded with wife Melissa Core in Nashville, Tennessee.



As art director of Dead Horse Branding he is in demand particularly from clients in the music and entertainment industry. Recently that has included the Baha Men who shot to fame during the 80's with the smash hit "Who Let The Dogs Out" .

The Baha Men were looking to rebrand their image and Mr Caballo's work on their newly revamped website earned him a Graphic Design USA Award. He also created a new logo, social media image and artwork for the group's new single "Take A Chance." What he didn't realise when he set out is that Australia is recognised as being Baha Men's number one fan base and Wollongong is the top streaming city in Australia for the band.

In 2019 the Dead Horse Branding co-founder picked up two International Design Awards and two Graphic Design USA Awards.

They included a gold award in product development for work he did with Australian lifestyle doctor Karen Phillips and gold award for the graphic design and photography he did for music producer Tony Brown's book Elvis, Strait, to Jesus.
