KIMBERLY DAWN PERFORMS AT MAGIC'S FIRST-EVER NASHVILLE SHOW

NASHVILLE, Tenn - Debuting MAGIC in Nashville, Kimberly Dawn will bring live musical entertainment on Monday, May 16th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Music City Center.

The leading global fashion industry connector, Informa Markets Fashion, organizes this year's young contemporary fashion event. It’s MAGIC's first time in Music City, and they're showcasing a number of brands and products along with live performances, including fan favorite Kimberly Dawn.

Using her natural talent, Kimberly conveys a message of perseverance, humility, courage, and resilience. As part of the opening day of the Global Fashion Tradeshow and ahead of Kimberly’s new single “Deere John,” set to be released on Friday, July 29th, the Canadian singer-songwriter is set to perform a number of her country hits.

As an artist, Kimberly embodies her glammed-up bohemian style while redefining country music in her own unique way. In addition to Kimberly releasing her new single this summer, she will also be releasing a duet with Grammy Award winning songwriter and artist Paul Anka. Paul has worked with notable acts such as Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.

MAGIC holds fashion events across the country, and they have recently added Nashville to their list. Kimberly is joined by her friends Blessing Offer, whose song "Brighter Days" just hit number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and by Nashville singer-songwriter Megan Barker, who just received the Robert Oermann DISCovery Award from Music Row Magazine. A number of emerging acts will also perform at the two-day event in Music City, including Cash Crawford, Siena, Ross Flora, Megan Nadin, Elise Stein, and Caleb LaDuke.

To continue to market to new and emerging retailers, MAGIC creates an "intimate collection" using the latest trends and styles. Kimberly says, "I feel so honored to be performing at the first-ever MAGIC show in Nashville." Kimberly’s authentic approach to country music has led her to have an ongoing brand partnership with Nashville, TN based vintage woman-owned boot company, Planet Cowboy.

As Kimberly continues to inspire and uplift others throughout her musical journey, she is also set to perform at this year's NAMI Connection: National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wednesday, June 15 from 1:55 – 2:10 p.m. ET. It will also be available for viewing on-demand. Kimberly boldly took control of her musical passions after having her four children when she began learning the guitar and piano.

Kimberly feels particularly empowered to share her experiences balancing life as a mother and wife with her music career. As a NAMI ambassador, Kimberly strives to openly share the story of her own personal mental health journey to inspire and uplift others. “Even if it’s just one person who hears a song and they are having a hard day. If that song helps them through the day, then I am so grateful for that,” says Kimberly. Her songs The Bottle (101K views) and '93 (65K views) are great representations of her empowering songwriting and highlight the real pain of those struggling with mental health and addiction.
