Rising Star, Will Muse has astounded audiences world wide with his debut release “I Can Change” with over a MILLION views. Will Muse only 16, is back with his third release “Shape of Your Faith”. A song that is romantic, fun, has a classic vibe from start to finish. We had the opportunity to chat with Will hot off the release of his new song and here’s what he had to say.
Ryan: Your new single “Shape of Your Faith” dropped last Friday. How has the response been in the last few days from family, friends and fans?
Will: The response has been great! I am very thankful to have such a supportive and receptive fan base.
Ryan:“Shape of Your Faith” is a fun upbeat, romantic song with a classic vibe. What went into creating this piece that I feel fans are going to be crazy over?
Will: The song just has a really fun and groovy retro vibe. The creative process for the project was amazing. It expresses how love can shape your life.
Ryan: With studio time, writing and recording, you spend a lot of time between Nashville and Los Angeles. Which city do you prefer? There are obviously great characteristics of both.
Will: I love both Nashville and Los Angeles. I probably prefer Los Angeles, just because of the amazing natural landscape that surrounds Los Angeles. We can all agree that it is a very beautiful place!
Ryan: Will, you’re a native of Somerset, Kentucky (a fellow KY native here also) can you tell us how you got your start? What lead you to the stage and helped you get to where you are now? Are your roots still in Kentucky?
Will: My roots are still in Kentucky! I got my start really from growing up and being influenced by great classic music from my family. From an early age I took great interest in Elton John, Prince, and Guns N Roses. That inspired me to get into music! Wanting to musically express myself lead me to the stage.
Ryan: You’re doing great things for the Make A Wish Foundation since the start of your “Music For Hope” cause. You’ve raised thousands and brought awareness to this organization. Is there a story behind deciding to partner with Make A Wish?
Will: I wanted to combine my true passion for helping people with my passion for music. So I founded Music for Wishes, which is a Make-A-Wish foundation that has raised over $85,000 to help fund the wishes of local children in my area. Locally, I saw a need for a Make-A-Wish foundation fundraiser because there were children waiting on their wishes to be granted.
Ryan: When you look down the road at your career 5-10 years down the road, what are some things you hope to have accomplished by then?
Will: 5-10 years from now I want to have been on a good tour, I want to have several singles and videos released, I want to have an album out, and I ultimately just want to continue spreading positivity through music and building my brand!
