City Current: High Road Incorporated – Providing trucking services for concert tours.
Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Sharon Lee, President and CEO of High Road Incorporated, who shares the story of what led her to launch the boutique tour trucking company that provides trucking services for clients and partners in the music and live events industry. High Road Incorporated was established in Nashville, Tennessee in 2016 with the philosophy of “No road is long with good company.”
During the interview, Sharon talks about how providing trucking services for concert tours is different than operating a more traditional trucking business with very specific load-in times, long periods away for their drivers, and different capability needs with the trucks. She talks about operating the business and working with the artists’ production teams, some special memories with the shows, and being a role model for other women in the industry. She also discusses her support of nonprofits and serving on the board with the nonprofit, Touring Career Workshop, which provides mental health support and services to touring professionals and their family members.
