Publicity and Licensing Brand Build///
Our goal for Kathy Anderson was a straightforward one. Build a National presence through publicity and secure licensing deals that in-turn create more larger publicity opportunities and extra ongoing revenue streams along with building more clientele.
Dead Horse Branding worked with Kathy Anderson and Anderson Design Studio to turn Kathy into a Nationally recognized brand. With over 500 media outlet coverage stories, including over 30 appearances for TV, Print. Dead Horse then engaged our licensing strategy to where Kathy now has three (3) different licensed brands, homewares, rugs and custom wood floors. It is safe to say we achieved our strategy.
Gigi Butler of Gigi's Cupcakes Brand Management and Brand Build///
The Gigi Butler Brand was an in-depth strategy with very clear targets, however the biggest challenge was being very careful not to compromise the Gigi's Cupcakes brand. The focus for the Gigi Butler brand was to create a true personal Gigi Butler mark that reminded you of Gigi's Cupcakes but didn't copy it in any way. The colors are still fresh, sexy and fun with a modern twist.
Our first brand phase was to design the identity, re-build the website,streamline the new expanded message that celebrated ALL culinary aspects of baking and not just cupcakes, create marketing materials to suit the new identity.
Moving into publicity was the second phase to ramping up Gigi's brand awareness, closely followed by speaking for large corporate events & securing/developing licensing deals.
The third phase of Gigi's brand was the launch of her book 'The Secret Ingredient' and her newly signed production deal with Lionsgate for her own baking TV show.
